Description

JCB Hydraulic Filter Cover Gasket - ORIGINAL

Original gasket for the hydraulic tank cover. Designed for return filtration systems. It ensures excellent sealing between the filter body and its cover, preventing hydraulic oil leaks and the ingress of external contaminants into the system.

Technical Features and Parameters:

  • Design: The gasket features 8 mounting holes, which guarantees uniform pressure and seating stability around the entire circumference of the cover.
  • Material: Made of a specialized rubber-cork composite or reinforced elastomer resistant to long-term exposure to hot hydraulic oil and sudden pressure spikes in the return line.
  • Durability: The material does not harden or perish under the influence of chemicals contained in modern HV-type oils, ensuring a long service life between maintenance intervals.

Technical Advice: The filter cover gasket should be replaced during every inspection or when changing the hydraulic filter element. Once the cover is unscrewed, the old gasket becomes permanently deformed, and reusing it almost always results in sweating or leaks. Before installing the new gasket, ensure that the mating surfaces on both the tank and the cover are perfectly clean and free of old material residue. Tighten the bolts in a "cross" pattern to ensure the gasket seats evenly.
