Parker Main Pumps – Standard in JCB
Most JCB 3CX/4CX backhoes are factory-equipped with Parker gear pumps. These are double or triple section pumps. We offer original Parker pumps and high-quality replacements that restore the machine's factory speed and power, even with hot oil.
Travel and Slew Motors (Final Drives)
Failure of the track drive or slew mechanism is often a mechanical issue within the gearbox (reduction gear). Our range includes:
- Reduction gear repair kits: Shafts, planet gears, sun gears, bearings.
- Complete hydraulic motors: The hydraulic units responsible for the drive.
- Floating Seals: Cassette seals protecting the final drive from oil leaks and mud ingress.
💡 Installing a new pump?
Replace the pump coupling (often plastic or metal-rubber) – a worn coupling can damage the new pump shaft. Also check filters:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The most common cause is cavitation (air in the oil) due to a suction leak, clogged filter, or low oil level. Prolonged operation in this state will destroy the pump.
There is a plate or stamped numbers on the pump body (e.g., starting with 20/9... for JCB or Parker codes like 332/...). Provide us with these numbers, and we will select the identical pump.
Problem with excavator travel?
If the machine pulls to one side or lacks power on slopes, the culprit could be the travel motor or internal leakage in the pump. Contact us for advice.
