Workshop Technical Tip: When installing the reducer without the hydraulic motor, special care must be taken to ensure the cleanliness of the contact surfaces of both components and the condition of the seals (O-rings). Before the first startup, the gearbox must be filled with fresh high-viscosity gear oil (recommended SAE 80W90 or 90) according to the level indicated on the dipstick or check plug. It is imperative to check the condition of the swing ring teeth – debris or damage to the ring can quickly lead to the shearing or breakage of the new drive pinion teeth.
