Workshop Technical Advice: When mounting the gearbox section to an old hydraulic motor, it is essential to check the condition of the motor's output shaft. If the motor splines are worn, they will quickly damage the input socket in the new reduction unit. Remember to replace the seal between the motor and the gearbox and to fill the gearbox with fresh gear oil. Never run the drive "dry" after motor assembly.
