High-quality hydraulic coupling / joint (often referred to as a rotary union or center joint), a component allowing unrestricted 360-degree rotation of the excavator's upper structure relative to the undercarriage. This joint precisely transfers high-pressure hydraulic oil from the main pump (located in the upper structure) to the travel motors and optional undercarriage attachments (e.g., dozer blade), preventing hydraulic hoses from twisting or tangling.

Workshop Technical Advice: A swivel joint failure usually manifests as external leaks under the machine or internal cross-channel bypass (resulting in, for example, a loss of travel power on one track or the dozer blade drifting down). During installation, ensure absolute cleanliness of the ports and use only new O-rings and Quad-rings. After installation, perform several full rotations of the upper structure without load to bleed the system and check the tightness of all bolt connections.
