Workshop Technical Tip: When installing a new final drive, it is crucial to check the permeability of the case drain line. A blocked return line can cause a sudden pressure increase in the motor housing, leading to seal damage and leakage. Before the initial startup, ensure that the motor housing is primed with clean hydraulic oil. Also, remember to replace the gear oil in the mechanical part of the final drive after the first 50 operating hours (break-in period).
