JCB Final Drive Seal Assembly 275x303x38mm - 05/903811

High-quality Duo-Cone mechanical face seal, designed for JCB tracked excavator final drives. This is a key component protecting the planetary gearbox from oil leaks and the ingress of contaminants such as mud, water, or sand. Thanks to the use of precision-ground metal rings and flexible O-rings, the seal ensures long-term drivetrain integrity even in the most demanding terrain conditions.

Workshop Technical Advice: Duo-Cone seals are extremely precise – during installation, under no circumstances touch the mating face surfaces of the metal rings with dirty hands. The smallest fingerprint or grain of sand on the mirror-finished surface can cause a leak. Before seating the O-rings, make sure that the housing sockets are perfectly clean and degreased. Remember: if you see an oil leak on the inner side of the track, the Duo-Cone seal has reached the end of its life. Replace it immediately before water and mud destroy the final drive's main bearings.
