High-quality final drive input shaft designed for JCB JS series tracked excavators. This is a critical drivetrain component that connects the hydraulic travel motor to the final drive's planetary gearbox. The shaft is responsible for transmitting the power necessary for the machine to maneuver in the field. Thanks to precision hardening of the teeth and splines, this product ensures reliable travel system operation even under heavy loads.

Workshop Technical Advice: If the machine has lost drive on one track or if metallic clicking/grinding is heard from the final drive, the input shaft is one of the first components to check. During replacement, it is mandatory to inspect the condition of the splines inside the travel motor—if the motor socket is "stripped" or excessively worn, the new shaft will fail in a very short time. During service, it's also wise to check the final drive oil and the Duo-Cone seals to avoid leaks, which are the most common cause of complete drive failure.
