High-quality drive shaft (connector) designed to transfer torque from the hydraulic motor to the planetary gearbox in JCB machinery. The component features precision-cut splines, ensuring a rigid connection and vibration reduction during travel drive operation. Made of hardened alloy steel, it exhibits high resistance to material fatigue and wear of the spline working surfaces.

Workshop Technical Advice: The most common cause of shaft damage is spline wear resulting from the presence of metal shavings in the oil or a lack of alignment in the connection. When replacing the shaft, it is absolutely necessary to check the condition of the internal splines inside the hydraulic motor. If the socket is worn, the new shaft will be destroyed rapidly. Before installation, it is recommended to clean the housing of old grease and shavings and to check the condition of the seals to prevent gear oil leaks into the hydraulic section.
