Workshop Technical Tip: The most critical factor during the installation of a new final drive is the permeability of the case drain line. These motors feature two return ports – ensure they are connected according to the machine's specific hydraulic schematic. Any blockage in the return line will cause a rapid pressure buildup inside the motor housing, leading to the immediate blowout of the shaft seal or permanent damage to the pistons. Before the first operation, you must prime the motor housing with clean hydraulic oil and check the gear oil level in the final drive itself.
