High-quality complete travel drive assembly (final drive) - reduction gear integrated with a hydraulic motor - for JCB ZTS (Zero Tail Swing) and RTS (Reduced Tail Swing) series mini excavators. The unit is a two-speed travel drive mounted directly in the machine's tracked undercarriage, ready to fit together with the drive sprocket. It is a complete unit replacing a worn or damaged original.

Workshop Technical Tip: The most common cause of new final drive failure is a contaminated hydraulic system. Before fitting, always flush the lines and replace the hydraulic filter and oil. Correct connection of the drain (case drain) line is also vital - blocking it will instantly blow out the shaft seal in the hydraulic motor. Remember to check the gearbox oil level every 250 operating hours. When fitting the drive sprocket, tighten the M14 bolts to the correct torque and in a cross pattern - uneven tightening risks sprocket run-out and accelerated wear.
