Hydraulic Fan Motors – Parker and Azeri Parts
In both JCB and CAT machines, radiator fans are often hydraulically driven (Fan Drive Motors). This allows for precise cooling control. We offer original Parker gear motors and Azeri Parts replacements. Selecting a motor requires checking its displacement (cc) and rotation direction – an error risks engine overheating.
Hydraulic Fittings – JCB vs CAT Standards
System tightness depends on choosing the right connectors. We stock a full range:
- JCB Standard (BSP): British Standard Pipe threads, sealed on a 60-degree cone.
- CAT Standard (ORFS / JIC): CAT often uses O-Ring Face Seal (flat face with O-ring) or American JIC threads.
- Mounts: Pipe and hose clamps that dampen vibration – essential when replacing rigid lines.
Hydraulic Locks (Stabilizer Valves)
A dropping stabilizer leg is an issue in both JCB 3CX and CAT backhoe loaders (428/432 series). We offer complete hydraulic check valves (twin pilot operated) and repair kits that eliminate the stabilizer drift problem.
💡 Replacing the fan motor?
Check the radiator condition, as it might have caused the hydraulic motor overload. Remember to check oil:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
An ORFS connector has a flat face with a groove for an O-ring (male) or a flat face (female). It does not have a sealing cone like BSP/JIC connectors.
Only if the Parker/manufacturer numbers match. Even if the motor looks identical (same housing), it may have different internal displacement. We recommend verifying by part number.
Unusual fitting?
Hydraulic threads are a maze of standards. If you don't know what to order, send a photo of the thread with a caliper – we will help select the reducer or connector.
