Technical Advice: A leak on the suction flange is the "silent killer" of the hydraulic system! Because this line operates under a vacuum, a leak rarely manifests as an oil leak. Instead, the pump sucks in air. If the hydraulics in your machine start to howl loudly (a characteristic "whining" or "rattling"), the oil foams, and the actuator movements become spongy and jerky, check this connection immediately. The flange must be mounted on a perfectly clean surface, using only a dedicated O-ring. Avoid trying to save the situation with thick silicone – the glue residues squeezed inside will be sucked in and immediately ground up by the precise interior of the pump, leading to its damage.
