Technical Advice (Installation): Particular care must be taken during the installation of the glass. It is recommended to replace the door seal with a new one if the old one shows signs of hardening – this will prevent point stresses that could lead to glass breakage during machine operation in rough terrain. Mounting bolts should be tightened with care (preferably using a torque wrench according to CAT service instructions), using new vibration-damping rubber washers. Avoid over-tightening any single point – tighten bolts evenly in a "cross" pattern.
