Technical Advice: When replacing bushings in critical points of the arm, remember to carefully verify the condition of the pins. If the old pin is scratched, gouged, or elliptical in shape, pressing a new bushing onto it is throwing money down the drain – it will be destroyed in just a dozen or so days. Before pressing in the (preferably cooled) bushing, the socket in the arm should be perfectly clean. After installation, absolutely ensure regular, daily lubrication of this node according to the schedule. Dry operation will lead to seizing and rotation of the bushing in the socket, which means costly and time-consuming line boring (regeneration) of the boom itself!
