This element constitutes a support point for pins in the working system of the machine. The use of an appropriate brass alloy guarantees the smooth operation of attachments, reducing friction and effectively protecting the valuable seats in the excavator arm from wear and tear.

- Protection of working pins: Brass as a bearing material is deliberately selected to be softer than the hardened steel of the pin. Thanks to this, during the natural working wear process, the easily replaceable bushing wears out, protecting the much more expensive pin from damage.
- Total corrosion resistance: The brass structure does not rust, which is of enormous importance when working in difficult, waterlogged terrain conditions and prevents the pin from "seizing" inside the bushing.

Technical Advice: Brass bushings absolutely do not forgive negligence in lubrication! If you forget to regularly use a grease gun, micro-particles of sand will get between the pin and the bushing and embed themselves into the soft brass. The bushing will then turn into sandpaper, which will instantly "eat" the steel pin. Always make sure that the grease channels are fully clear before installation. Furthermore, brass is brittle under point impacts – when pressing in a new bushing, pay special attention to alignment and never hit it directly with a steel hammer.
