Technical Advice: Replacing the main arm pin is absolutely the moment when you must verify the condition of the mating bushings. Even a brand new pin will wear out very quickly (rub off) if it is seated in an old, "egg-shaped" bushing. Before inserting the element, thoroughly clean the seats and make sure that the grease channels are 100% clear. After completing the assembly, pump the point with a grease gun until fresh grease pushes out any potential metal shavings and remnants of the old lubricant.
