JCB Wear Pad Shim 1.5mm - AZERI PARTS
Boom wear pad shim (adjustment spacer) by AZERI PARTS. A specialized spacer component used in the telescopic lifting systems of JCB machinery. It is used for precise calibration of the clearance between the telescopic boom sections and the wear pad inserts.

Technical Advice: Boom clearance adjustment should be performed when lateral or vertical play exceeds the permissible values specified in the service manual (typically above 1.5-2 mm). Excessively tight section fit (too many shims) will cause the wear pads to overheat and overload the hydraulic pump. Before installing new shims, thoroughly remove old grease mixed with sand, which acts as an abrasive. It is recommended to lubricate the sliding surfaces only with dedicated graphite or molybdenum grease, which does not "run off" at high operating temperatures.
