JCB Stabilizer Teflon Wear Pad (70-73mm)

Teflon wear pad (slide pad) for the stabilizer. A component of the stabilizer leg system in JCB machines. It is responsible for reducing friction between the moving profiles of the extending stabilizer legs, eliminating direct metal-to-metal contact and compensating for the system's operating play.

Technical features:

  • Material properties: Made of a composite (Teflon/polymer) resistant to abrasion and high point loads. It has a low friction coefficient, which facilitates the smooth extension of the supports.
  • Dimensional parameters: The outer diameter of the element is 70–73 mm, and its total height ranges from 27.6–35 mm.

Technical Advice: Noticeable swaying of the machine on the supports while working with the excavator attachment is the main symptom of worn wear pads. Before installing new elements, the guides must be thoroughly cleaned of sand, rust, and old grease residues. Solid contaminants press into the Teflon structure and act like sandpaper on the steel housing of the support, drastically accelerating its wear. Wear pads must be replaced in sets (all sides on a given support) to ensure even axial pressure.
