A properly constructed cable allows for smooth, resistance-free control of the drive unit's RPM, which directly translates into comfortable and fully controlled machine operation during precise loading tasks.

Technical Advice: A jamming or "stiff" throttle cable is not only a drastic drop in working comfort, but above all a huge danger of a sudden, uncontrolled jerk of the machine (e.g., when lifting a load on forks). If the old cable resists, never try to "resuscitate" it by flooding the casing with rust-penetrating agents (e.g., WD-40) or thick oil! This will flush out the remains of the factory grease, and the greasy residue inside the casing will instantly attract dust, creating a paste that will lead to a complete blockage of the core after a few days. When routing a new cable in the machine, absolutely avoid bending it at a right angle, which can permanently deform the casing and block the cable inside.
