JCB Throttle Cable (AA, AB, AC Engines)
Throttle cable. A component of the mechanical engine speed control system in JCB machines. It connects the accelerator pedal or the hand throttle lever directly to the control lever on the injection pump.

Technical Advice: Symptoms indicating that the cable needs replacement include: noticeable resistance when pressing the accelerator pedal, slow engine return to idle speed, or inability to reach full power (cable stretching). During installation, avoid sharp bends in the sheath, which drastically increase internal friction and lead to rapid wear of the steel core. After installing a new cable, adjustment of the stop screws at the injection pump is required to ensure the pump lever reaches its full range of motion without over-tensioning the cable at extreme positions.
