JCB Clutch Pack Piston O-ring - ORIGINAL

Original transmission sealing ring (O-ring), dedicated to sealing the piston within the clutch pack. This JCB OEM part is a key component of the drivetrain system, responsible for maintaining the hydraulic pressure necessary for the correct engagement of individual gears in Powershift and Synchro Shuttle type transmissions.

Technical Features and Parameters:

  • Dimensions: Diameter 47 mm.
  • Material: Made of a specialized elastomer with high resistance to hot transmission oil (ATF/transmission fluid) and constant hydraulic pressure.
  • Transmission Application: Compatible with original JCB gearboxes: HM (Dropbox), PS (Powershift), and SS (Synchro Shuttle).

Technical Advice: Damage to the clutch pack piston O-ring typically manifests as a pressure drop on a specific gear, leading to clutch plate slippage, overheating, and eventual burnout. During any major transmission overhaul (reman), replacing all piston seals is absolutely mandatory. During installation, the O-ring should be moistened with clean transmission oil, and extreme care must be taken not to nick or cut it against the edges of the clutch basket.
