JCB Binary Air Conditioning Switch (Sensor) - AZERI PARTS
Binary AC pressure switch (presostat) by AZERI PARTS. A critical safety component for the HVAC system in JCB machinery. It is responsible for monitoring the refrigerant pressure and controlling the operation of the AC compressor clutch to protect the system from damage.
Technical features:
- Binary Switch Function: The sensor performs two roles: it cuts power to the compressor at excessively low pressure (preventing dry running in case of a leak) and at excessively high pressure (protecting against line bursts or compressor damage).
- Construction: Durable brass/steel body with a hermetic electrical connector, resistant to vibrations and high temperatures found in the engine compartment.

Technical Advice: If the air conditioning in the machine suddenly stops working while refrigerant is still in the system, the most common cause is a pressure switch failure or a corroded electrical connector. Before replacing the sensor, check the circuit continuity and verify if the compressor "starts" after momentarily bridging the pins in the connector (for diagnostic purposes only!). When screwing in the new sensor, be careful not to damage the Schrader valve in the service port and use a new O-ring specifically designed for refrigerants (typically HNBR).
