Technical Tip: Before installing the new alternator, check the condition of the multi-ribbed belt. A worn or oil-contaminated belt can cause premature wear of the pulley. Remember to always disconnect the battery ground before replacement. After starting the engine, we recommend checking the charging voltage at the battery terminals – it should range between 27.5V and 28.5V for a healthy 24V system.
