Genuine coolant temperature sensor dedicated to a wide range of JCB agricultural and construction machinery. This measuring element is responsible for monitoring the engine temperature and transmitting the signal to the cab gauge and the Engine Control Unit (ECU).

Technical Advice: When replacing the sensor, remember that the 1/2" NPTF thread is tapered and creates a seal as it is tightened; however, caution is advised to avoid over-tightening and cracking the port in the engine block. Before installation, it is worth checking the condition of the 2-pin connector for tarnish and corrosion, which are the most common causes of incorrect temperature readings (e.g., erratic needle movement). It is best to perform the replacement on a cold engine to avoid burns from hot coolant.
