Rocker Cover Gasket 4BG1 Engine (fits ISUZU) - AM 8944625590

High-quality rocker cover gasket (valve cover / cylinder head cover gasket) by AM for ISUZU 4B series engines. The gasket seals between the cover and the cylinder head, preventing engine oil leaks. A worn or hardened gasket shows up as oil leaks from under the valve cover, oil deposits on the engine and a dropping oil level. AM grade - precise fit, full interchangeability with the OEM part.

Workshop Technical Tip: When replacing the rocker cover gasket, always thoroughly clean the cover and head mating surfaces of old gasket material and oil deposits - remnants of the old gasket will prevent a correct seal. Tighten the cover bolts to the correct torque and in the correct sequence (from the centre outwards) per ISUZU specification - over-tightening risks warping the cover and causing leaks. While replacing, also check the condition of the bolt seals/grommets and the injector well seals if fitted. Do not use excess silicone - the gasket is designed to run dry or with minimal sealant in the corners only.
