Workshop Tip: The exhaust system operates under extreme temperatures, which promotes corrosion of the mounting bolts. Before replacing the gasket, it is recommended to have new bolts or studs and copper-plated nuts ready. Before installation, thoroughly clean the flange surfaces of any old material residue and rust to avoid leaks (blow-by), which can lead to the new gasket burning out in a short period of time.
