JCB Exhaust Manifold Gasket (4-cyl.)

Technical Advice: A leaking manifold gasket results in not only a noisier engine but, above all, a loss of power and the risk of burnt valve seats. Before installing a new gasket, it is imperative to check the exhaust manifold surface – if it is "warped," the new gasket will quickly burn out. It is also recommended to replace the manifold studs and nuts with new ones to ensure proper clamping force. Remember to tighten the bolts according to the sequence (from the center outwards) to avoid material stress.
