Technical Advice: Before installing the new filter, moisten the rubber gasket with clean diesel fuel. Tighten the filter by hand until the gasket contacts the head, then perform an additional 3/4 turn. Avoid using mechanical wrenches for tightening, as this may lead to deformation of the gasket or filter canister, resulting in leaks or difficulties during future removal. Regular filter replacement (according to the service interval) is essential to avoid engine power drops caused by restricted fuel flow.
