JCB Hydraulic Tank Suction Filter - ORIGINAL

Original hydraulic tank suction filter (strainer). Designed for the hydraulic system. It is responsible for capturing larger solid contaminants (such as metal shavings, rust, or seal residues) directly from the oil in the tank before it reaches the main hydraulic pump.

Technical Features:

  • Main pump protection: Effectively blocks the entry of particles that could instantly jam spool valves or deeply scratch the precise pumping elements of gear and multi-piston pumps.
  • Optimal flow (No cavitation): The factory-selected density of the filter mesh ensures the free flow of even thick, cold oil. This protects the pump from the destructive phenomenon of cavitation (lack of lubrication and vacuum suction).
  • Reinforced internal structure: A solid, perforated internal frame prevents the filter from collapsing and crushing under the strong suction flow generated by the machine's system.

Technical Advice: If you notice that the hydraulic pump has started to operate loudly (a characteristic "whining" under load or even at idle), the first step should be to check the suction filter. A filter clogged with sludge or silicone residues severely restricts the flow. Before installing a new suction filter, drain the old oil and thoroughly clean the bottom of the hydraulic tank from deposits (sludge/scale). When screwing on the filter/cover, always use a new sealing O-ring so that the system does not draw in outside air, which causes oil foaming.
