JCB Hydraulic Tank Filter - SERVICE FILTERS

Hydraulic tank filter (return filter) by SERVICE FILTERS, designed for JCB machines, including the extremely popular 3CX and 4CX series backhoe loaders. This component is mounted directly in the tank or on the return line and performs the critical function of cleaning the oil returning from the system before it is sucked back in by the pump. It effectively eliminates metal shavings, carbon deposits, and seal remnants, protecting the hydraulics from seizing and premature wear.

Significant product features:

  • Effective Return Filtration: Precisely selected filtering medium captures contaminants generated during normal operation of cylinders and directional control valves, preventing their circulation in the machine's system.
  • High Flow Capacity: The advanced cartridge design ensures free return oil flow, which minimizes the risk of dangerous pressure build-up (backpressure) in the lines and damage to the cooler.

Technical Advice: When replacing a filter located inside the tank, strictly maintain a sterile clean environment—even a speck of sand or dirt from the housing that falls into the unprotected opening will immediately reach the hydraulic pump. Regularly verify the condition of the seal (O-ring) under the filter cover. Its damage leads to the suction of moist air, which over time degrades the properties of the hydraulic oil and causes corrosion in the system. Always replace filters according to the machine's service intervals.
