If the hydraulic motor has seized (presence of metal filings), it is necessary to flush the system and replace the hydraulic filter so that the new motor does not suffer immediate damage. During installation, pay attention to the condition of the key on the 14.7 mm shaft – it must sit tightly in the slot to avoid shearing off during rapid fan acceleration.
