Technical Advice: Damage (cracking or bending) to the rigid cabin mount is most often a symptom of worn shock-absorbing cushions (vibration isolators) between the cabin and the machine frame. If the rubber cushion no longer dampens vibrations, all stresses are transferred directly to the bracket. When replacing this component, it is absolutely necessary to check the condition of the cabin cushions – if you install a new bracket on worn shock absorbers, it will very quickly crack again due to excessive vibrations from the engine and hydraulic system.
