Spring Steel Loader Arm Bush (fits JCB) - GENUINE 1208/0023
Genuine spring steel bush (split/cut type) for front bucket mounting for a wide range of JCB machines. This precision component forms the pin joint connecting the front bucket to the loader arm. The longitudinal split allows the bush to be fitted with a spring interference — providing constant, reliable contact against the pin, eliminating play in the loader arm kinematics and protecting the bores from being wallowed out. Workshop Technical Tip: The 114 mm length means the bush stabilises the pin over a large contact area — this is critical when working with heavy materials where the forces transmitted through the joint are particularly high. A worn bush shows up as play and knocking in the bucket during loading and increased vibration through the arm. Always check the condition of the pin when replacing the bush — a pin with ridges or ovality will destroy a new bush rapidly. Fit the bush using a suitable driver or press — never drive it in directly with a hammer, as this can deform the spring split. Regular greasing through the nipples as per the operator's manual will ensure smooth joint operation and maximise service life.
