Technical Advice: Perforated bushings require regular lubrication for the grease pockets to function correctly. During the installation of a new bushing, thoroughly clean the seat and check the condition of the pin – pin ovalization will cause point overloading of the bushing and result in cracking. It is recommended to use lubricants with graphite or molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) additives, which settle in the perforations and create a durable protective layer, shielding the system even in the event of a temporary lack of fresh grease.
