Technical Advice: Bushings made of bronze absolutely require the continuous presence of a lubricating film! Unlike bushings with graphite inserts, they do not have self-lubricating properties. Lack of regular, abundant lubrication of the main arm (BOOM) or blade pins will quickly lead to a drastic increase in temperature and seizing. Furthermore, due to the specificity of the alloy, during the installation (press-fitting) of bronze bushings, point impacts with a hard tool (e.g., a steel hammer) must be absolutely avoided, as they can permanently deform the material structure and disturb the dimensional tolerance.
