High-quality, induction-hardened boom cylinder bushing (main boom lift cylinder rod end / eye bushing) by AM with dimensions of 50 x 60 x 40 mm. This component is designed specifically for JCB construction, agricultural, and industrial machinery. The mounting of the main lift cylinder (BOOM) is responsible for raising the entire arm and attachment system, subjecting it to extreme, continuous vertical loads. The use of specialized wear-resistant alloy steel eliminates dangerous structural play, protects the cylinder eye from ovalization, and restores full machine stability during operation.

Zonal Hardness 54-62 HRC: The bushing undergoes an advanced heat treatment process. The working surface layer (both internal and external), with a hardness of up to 62 HRC, guarantees powerful resistance to galling and abrasive wear caused by dust, sand, or water. At the same time, the core of the bushing retains its ductility and toughness, which dampens sudden pressure spikes in the hydraulic system and prevents the component from cracking under heavy load.

Workshop Tip: The mounting position of the main boom lift cylinder (BOOM) is a critical point of the machine's structure. Excessive play in this area causes the entire boom to sag, generates mechanical impacts when digging, and drastically accelerates the wear of the hydraulic cylinder gland seals, leading to oil leaks.

Golden rules for proper installation:
1. Pin verification: Always check the condition of the main pin (Ø 50 mm). Pressing a new AM bushing onto a worn, scratched, or unevenly worn pin is counterproductive – the new bushing will quickly suffer damage and premature wear.
2. Safe seating (hardened steel): The working layer with a hardness of up to 62 HRC is highly susceptible to chipping or cracking if struck directly with a steel hammer. For installation, strictly use a hydraulic press (screw puller) or a thick brass or copper drift. It is excellent practice to pre-cool the bushing in dry ice or a freezer (thermal contraction) beforehand, allowing it to slide into the cylinder eye without resistance.
3. Initial lubrication and servicing: Before assembling the pin, thoroughly clean and generously fill the internal lubrication grooves of the bushing with fresh grease (lithium-calcium grease with molybdenum disulfide - MoS2 is highly recommended). Regular lubrication of this point extends the joint's service life by several hundred operating hours, effectively flushing out dirt and preventing galling.
