Technical Advice: The bucket pin operates in very harsh conditions, exposed to constant contact with soil and abrasive materials. When replacing the pin, it is essential to inspect the condition of the mating bushings. If the bushings are ovalized (worn), the new pin will suffer from premature wear or cracking due to impact forces. Remember to apply fresh grease to the pivot point regularly (daily)—it flushes out contaminants and creates a protective film that significantly extends the component's service life.
