JCB Kingpost Pin Locking Plate - OEM 231/20002

The OEM-quality locking plate (retaining plate) is a key mounting component for the kingpost of JCB machines. Its primary task is to rigidly secure the pin, preventing its rotation and axial displacement during operation. Thanks to precision manufacturing from hardened steel, the plate eliminates the risk of play developing in the kingpost seats, which directly affects digging precision and the safety of the boom structure.

If the plate becomes loose or bent, the pin will start to rotate in its seat, leading to rapid wear and ovalization of the kingpost holes (so-called "egg-shaped" holes). Repairing such damage requires costly line boring or welding; therefore, preventive replacement of a worn plate is the most economical solution.
