JCB Kingpost / Dipper Pin Simmering 65x80x4mm
Pin seal (also known as a dust seal) designed to protect pin joints in JCB machines. This component is installed in critical areas, such as the kingpost-to-boom connection or the dipper arm. Its primary task is to retain grease within the bushing and provide an effective barrier against sand, dust, and moisture entering the joint, which directly impacts the wear rate of the pins.

Technical Advice: When replacing seals, thoroughly clean the housing seat of any old, caked grease and sand. Even minor contamination left under a new seal can cause it to quickly fold or wear down. After installing the seal and pin, lubricate the system until fresh grease slightly lifts the seal lip – this ensures the working space is completely filled and protected against water.
