JCB Spacer Shim 80x5mm
The 5 mm thick spacer shim is a durable adjustment component essential for eliminating axial play in the pin joints of JCB construction machinery. It is used in kinematic nodes such as kingpost mountings, boom joints, and hydraulic cylinder anchors. Precise thickness adjustment allows for the elimination of attachment "chatter," which protects bushings from uneven wear and extends the service life of the entire joint.

Technical Tip: When eliminating pin play, shims should be selected so that a minimal gap (approx. 0.5 mm) remains after assembly. This allows for free grease penetration within the joint. An excessively tight fit without clearance may lead to the pin seizing in the bushing due to thermal expansion during operation.
