JCB Stabilizer Wear Pad (Metal + Teflon) - ORIGINAL

Original stabilizer (outrigger) wear pad made of Teflon-coated metal. It ensures smooth extension and retraction of the outrigger arms. It minimizes friction between moving steel profiles, preventing their wear and the formation of excessive play, which is crucial for maintaining machine rigidity during operation.

Technical Features:

  • Hybrid design: A combination of a durable metal base (resistant to crushing and impact loads) with a Teflon (PTFE) sliding layer, which guarantees a minimal coefficient of friction.
  • Stability and safety: Effective elimination of play on the outriggers translates into safer, more precise excavator operation and prevents dangerous machine "rocking" when digging in hard ground.

Technical Advice: When replacing wear pads, always replace them in sets on a given outrigger. Before installing new components, absolutely clean the inside of the steel profiles of rust, dirt, and remnants of old grease. Important: Teflon wear pads are not lubricated with classic, thick solid grease! Such grease acts like a magnet for sand, creating an abrasive paste that instantly tears off the Teflon and scratches the steel stabilizer legs. If the profile requires lubrication, use exclusively dry Teflon or graphite lubricants (sprays). Take up proper clearance using dedicated shim washers.
