JCB Engine Shutdown Cable - AZERI PARTS

Control cable (stop cable) by AZERI PARTS, designed for the manual engine shutdown in older types of JCB backhoe loaders. The cable connects the lever or handle in the operator's cab directly to the fuel shut-off lever on the injection pump. This is a reliable solution for machines not equipped with an electrical shutdown solenoid.

  • Construction: Multi-strand steel core inside a flexible protective conduit.
  • Resistance: Outer sleeve resistant to oils, greases, and variable temperatures within the engine compartment.
  • Ends: Mounting ends (eyelets/threads) precisely fitted to JCB attachments.

Technical Advice: Stiff operation of the shutdown lever usually indicates contamination inside the conduit or fraying of the steel core. Lubricating the cable with thick greases is not recommended, as they can attract dust and cause the mechanism to seize. When installing a new cable, ensure a smooth routing path (without sharp bends) to significantly extend the core's life and ensure smooth operation every time the engine is stopped.
