Workshop Technical Advice: Before removing the old linkage end from the lever or joystick, carefully measure its working length on the rod (or count the thread turns when unscrewing). Maintaining the original dimension is absolutely crucial – this ensures that after installing the new part, the joystick or lever will return to the perfect neutral position, and the spool in the control valve will have a full, correct range of deflection in both directions. Play in these small joints is often the cause of hydraulic jerking and a lack of precision during delicate work.
