This structural component of the travel drive supports the final drive housing and enables its smooth rotation relative to the hydraulic motor. Thanks to precision manufacturing and the use of high-fatigue-resistance steel, the bearing ensures stable transfer of massive torque and long-lasting drivetrain durability in harsh terrain conditions.

Workshop Technical Advice: Replacing the main bearing usually involves the complete disassembly of the travel drive. With every replacement of this bearing, we strongly recommend installing a new mechanical face seal (Duo-Cone). A worn bearing often manifests as gear oil leaks on the inner side of the track or a metallic noise during travel. Before installation, ensure that the housing socket is perfectly clean and free of pitting – improper seating of such a large bearing can lead to its rapid overheating and the destruction of the new final drive.
