JCB Differential Repair Kit - OEM
Complete set of internal differential components. This assembly serves as the heart of the axle drive system, allowing wheels on the same axle to rotate at different speeds during maneuvers.
The kit includes:
- 4x Planet Gears (bevel gears): Precision-hardened gears that mediate power transmission.
- 2x Sun Gears (side gears): Mounted on the splines of the drive axle shafts.
- 2x Cross Pins (shafts): Heavy-duty pins acting as the rotation axis for the planet gears.
- Set of Thrust Washers: Spherical washers for planet gears and flat washers for side gears.

Technical Advice: The most common symptoms of differential wear include a metallic clunking when changing travel direction or a "grinding" noise while turning. When replacing planet and side gears, **always use the new thrust washers** included in the kit – these are responsible for eliminating backlash. Before assembly, check the condition of the carrier seats. After the repair, the axle must be filled with fresh gear oil of the correct specification (e.g., with LS additives if the axle has a limited-slip differential) to prevent immediate overheating of the new friction surfaces.
