JCB Transmission Oil Temperature Sensor 1/4 BSP - AZERI PARTS

Oil temperature sensor by AZERI PARTS, designed for monitoring the operating parameters of transmissions in JCB machines. This component transmits data to the gauges or control module, protecting the drivetrain from overheating. Made of brass, it features excellent thermal conductivity and resistance to high oil pressure and vibrations generated during machine operation.

Specifications and Technical Features:

Mounting Thread: 1/4 BSP.
Application: Oil temperature measurement in gearboxes and drive axles.
Material: Brass body resistant to corrosion and chemical agents contained in transmission oils.
Function: Drivetrain protection against thermal overload.

Technical Advice: A malfunctioning temperature sensor often manifests as incorrect dashboard readings (sudden needle jumps or no reading at all) and can trigger a "limp mode" in the transmission. Exercise extreme caution during replacement; do not over-tighten the sensor, as this could damage the 1/4 BSP threads in the transmission housing. Before installation, inspect the electrical connector – pin corrosion in this area is a frequent cause of inaccurate temperature data.
