ISUZU 4HK1 engines have specific contact points (e.g., at corners or where the camshaft housing meets), where the service manual requires the application of a minimal amount of dedicated RTV silicone sealant. Remember to tighten the cover bolts evenly, from the center outwards, adhering strictly to the specified torque. Overtightening crushes the gasket and is the most common cause of recurrent leaks.
