JCB DIESELMAX Flywheel Hub - ORIGINAL

Original flywheel hub. Designed for DIESELMAX family engines. A component responsible for the rigid and axial connection of the crankshaft to the flywheel. The hub transmits the full torque generated by the engine directly to the machine's drivetrain.

Technical Features:

  • High fatigue strength: Made of a cast and precisely machined alloy, which is resistant to high torsional forces and vibrations characteristic of diesel engines.
  • Axial centering: Factory dimensional tolerances guarantee perfect system balance. This prevents radial runout, protecting the crankshaft bearings (main bearings) from premature wear.
  • Secure mounting: Precisely milled mounting bolt holes prevent thread loosening and shearing under heavy working loads.

Technical Advice:When replacing the flywheel hub, check the condition of the rear crankshaft seal (oil seal) – a removed hub is the best time for preventive replacement of this component. The contact surfaces on the crankshaft and the hub itself must be perfectly clean and degreased before installation. Use only new bolts to attach the hub, applying a thread locking compound (Threadlocker) and tightening them with a torque wrench according to the torque specifications for the DIESELMAX engine.
