Description

JCB DIESELMAX STD Crankshaft Thrust Washer - ORIGINAL

Original crankshaft thrust washer (spacer). A part dedicated to DIESELMAX and ECOMAX engines. It is responsible for maintaining the correct axial (end) play of the crankshaft. It absorbs lateral forces generated during clutch and transmission operation, preventing the shaft from shifting and protecting the engine block from costly damage and seizing.

Technical Features:

  • Dimensional precision: As an original factory part, it guarantees the maintenance of the nominal axial play of the shaft, which is crucial for the trouble-free operation of the entire crank assembly.
  • Optimized lubrication: Factory oil grooves on the working surface guarantee the maintenance of an adequate lubricating film, which drastically extends the life of the component.

Technical Advice: Make sure you install the thrust washers facing the correct direction – the side with the milled lubrication grooves must absolutely face the moving thrust face of the crankshaft, while the flat side faces the block. Reverse installation will cause immediate seizing of the component right after starting the engine. Before and after tightening the main bearing caps, always check the crankshaft end play using a dial indicator.
